After reading some other reviews I wasn`t expecting much from this hotel but I can honestly say it was a lovely find. We were greeted by the lovely Valentina who allowed us to check in earlier than 2.00 pm. The room was spotlessly clean as was all the public areas in the hotel. Was a bit noisy due to the extractor from the hotel next door but that was not our hotel`s fault. We didn`t have breakfast so can`t comment on that. If we are ever staying in London again we would definitely book this hotel. There are some lovely pubs just around the corner and it`s a short walk to the centre of London.
Brilliant lovely hotel, staff friendly and very helpful. Excellent location for all attractions around London, hope to go back there very soon ; - )
"Comfortable beds & lovely white towels & bed linen"
Lovely 1 night stay at this hotel, everything met expectations, value for money Only query - why did maid knock at door around 10am on a Sunday morning when check-out was not until 12 midday?
" Convenient location for a weekend leisure trip to London."
Room was a good size and was clean and the bed very comfortable. Room at back of hotel so very quiet, and would not want a room facing onto Southampton Row which is a very busy road. Room could have done with airing - slightly stale smell on arrival - only needed to open the windows. No aircon. so not sure what it would be like in the heat of the summer.
"Good reasonably priced London hotel"
We stayed here in a Friday night after meeting with friends in Covent Garden. It is a walkable distance to theatre land and surrounding area. Nice comfortable rooms with ensuite facilities. Very pleasant staff. Well priced.
"Location, location, location."
Room and bathroom were very small. Very little room for a couple to hang clothes and very little drawer space. The room was overwarm unless the windows were opened to the maximum and then the traffic noise disturbed sleep. Didn`t try the meals but there are plenty of eating places on your doorstep. Central location ideal and probably just worth the money.
Very friendly receptionists and within walking distance of the theatre.
"Good central location"
I stayed in a twin room with a friend. We found there wasn`t much space for our own toiletries in the bathroom and there were no drawers for clothes in the bedroom. Suggestion would be to have one less table and a chest of drawers instead.
