"Don`t stay here it`s a health hazzard"
I`m disgusted with the conditions and the overall lack off cleaning ! Walls with plaster off , doors that don`t lock , windows with cardboard covering them , major lack of security ! Did not feel safe or relaxed and I will be taking the videos to the correct authorities !!!

"Had to pay extra to access room earlier but this was not communicated to staff at reception."
Our room was not as clean as it should have been. This was reported to girl at reception. We were going out and asked that it be cleaned whilst we were away. On our return around 11 o`clock we were disappointed to discover it had not been done. It was late so we left it to report in the morning. We did so and it was suggested we reported it on the customer satisfaction survey. Breakfast was also disappointing with very tired looking fried eggs in a lot of oil. We asked for fresh once, twice, and they were eventually brought swimming in oil. Quite inedible. The tea was weak and lukewarm. All in all a disappointing stay. There were a good number of foreign tourists at the hotel who appeared to be bemused by the set up. Not a good recommendation of Scotlland. We will not be recommending Brittania Edinburgh to anyone.
