"Room was hostel-standard, far below what I expected and far below the standard of other hotels."
I felt like I was staying in a student hostel. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful but the room was awful. It was far too small, not clean enough and lacked basic facilities. Hair dryer didn`t work and I had to leave my room with wet hair. I wouldn`t recommend this hotel or stay in it again simply because of the room standard, which is a shame because you have a great staff team. The breakfast was good but should have been included in the price considering the low standard of the room. In comparison to other city hotels the standard was far below average.
"Good hotel - if arriving by tube the nearest station is Old Street"
Check in was quick and easy. We stayed in room 1342 - quite a large room with ironing board and iron, hairdryer and extra pillows in a cupboard. The bed was very comfy. The room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Despite a queue for breakfast we were seated quickly. Self service breakfast comprises fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, cooked options, croissants, bread, pastries and spreads - something for everyone. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.
Reception areas are very good, and the room was if a little tired, as clean as was expected, would I stay there again YES I would.
"Great facilities staff excellent"
Very small room for the price.
Very nice enjoyed our stay very helpful staff nice room
We had the theatre break, the hotel was miles away. The room was spectacularly average, poor shower, grubby and tired. Shelf next to bed hanging off the wall, all things that should have been picked up by a basic inspection.
"Room very clean, but could do with Aircon, very warm and stuffy. a good walk to the underground ."
"Very nice "
The hotel looked amazing, once we got inside. Very appealing and the swimming pool and fitness area was very good too, although we did have someone walk into our room without any warning...
Personally I thought great on the outside, Poor room quality. Furniture looked warn out and cheap, bed very hard. Couldn`t find a hand towel, personally I would have a towel rail by the sink, the towels were very well hidden and out of reach!! Well I could go on and on with this, I found it a very strange set up having to go across the road to the rooms. Didn`t bother with using your facilities so can not comment on that.
Great facilities staff excel...
