American indie pop band The Drums are set to perform in Paris this spring as part of a world tour, it has been confirmed.
The group from New York, who have released two albums since being shortlisted as one of the 15 music acts for the BBC Sound of 2010, will be performing at Le Bataclan on Friday 2 March.
They are likely to play hits such as ‘Let`s Go Surfing` and ‘Best Friend` form their first self-titled album The Drums, as well as material from their new release Portamento.
Having originally experienced more success on British soil than their homeland, the band has grown rapidly, performing in front of sold-out venues to the far reaches of the planet, including Hong Kong, Australia, Brazil and Indonesia.
