Ethereal and neoclassical duo Dead Can Dance are set to perform in the Catalonian capital this autumn, as part of a European tour.
Formed in Australia in 1981 before relocating a year later to London, the unique act will be performing at L`Auditori in Barcelona on 22 October.
Famed for their ability to seamlessly combine elements of European folk music, ambient pop and worldbeat flourishes, they are perhaps best known for their 1996 album Spiritchaser, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Top World Music Albums Chart.
Also credited for collecting styles of music from across the world and incorporating them into their music, Dead Can Dance have established a firm fan base and are recognised as one of the most talented world music groups around.
