An update on the enhancement of connectivity in Dublin, it has been announced that a range of 20 Wi-Fi friendly venues are set to be unveiled next month.

It was made public knowledge after being announced by Lord Mayor Dublin Mr Naoise Ó Muirí at a Digital Forum earlier today. The development is being teamed with the city`s annual Innovation Week, with the key objective to make Dublin an exemplar digital city. Taking place from 15-26 October, Innovation Week is the chance to raise public awareness regarding the creativity that is taking place in Dublin, whilst also celebrating and promoting the the city`s entrepreneurial accomplishments

Believed to be rolled out across parks and other public areas within the city, it could be a fantastic benefit to both city dwellers and tourists alike, allowing them to connect to social networks, browse nearby events and download maps of the area easier than ever before. If you happen to be staying in any of the hotels in Dublin in the coming months, be sure to take advantage of this great service.
