The city of Edinburgh is proud to welcome the return of its annual Tango festival, bringing a packed programme of events and workshops all looking to celebrate the legendary Argentinean dance form.
Run by the Edinburgh Tango society, it literally brings the magic of Buenos Aires to the heart of the Scottish capital. Beginning on the 1 June, it offers the floor to some of the greatest South American dancers to show off their moves; with duos Bruno Tombari and Mariángeles Caamano and Corina Herrera and Octavio Fernandez confirming their attendance.
If their dancing prowess inspires you to try it out yourself, there will also be an assortment of workshops to let you experience a bit of South American soul. With classes available for a range of abilities, it doesn`t matter whether you have two left feet or consider yourself to be the next big thing.
The Edinburgh International Tango Festival will feature from the 1 to the 4 June, with the full programme of events still available from just £8. Should you be staying in one of the many
Edinburgh hotels during the period, why not come down and get your feet moving to the magic of South American dance.
