Renowned as a host to many unique and fascinating landmarks, Edinburgh can rightly claim to be one of the most cultural cities in the world.
One of its favourites, the Grey Friars Bobby Statue, has impressed visitors from around the world since Victorian times.
In keeping with the significance of this historical statue, even more light is to be shed on the tale of Greyfriars Bobby with the installation of a gas lamp, similar to the one that illuminated the landmark during the 1800s.
The traditional-looking lantern received financial assistance to the tune of £3721 from Edinburgh World Heritage, which helped towards the development, manufacture and installation of the cultural landmark.
Come and check it out along with a range of other fascinating historical and cultural attractions dotted around the Scottish capital whilst enjoying a break in one of the excellent
hotels in Edinburgh, the perfect base for a British vacation.
