High-speed rail service Eurostar is to introduce a new quiet coach facility on-board its trains from September, following customer requests for the option.
The development, which is the latest in a series of enhancements to be introduced to the company`s trains, will be available to travellers online from 11 September onwards and offers the perfect alternative for any of those wanting to wind down and relax throughout the journey.
Head of Commercial Development for Eurostar Reuben Arnold said: ‘Our goal is to deliver the highest quality and most relaxing travel experience from the moment customers arrive at the station right through to arrival at their destination.`
The announcement comes ahead of the arrival of refurbished and new trains from 2013 and 2014, offering onboard wifi and interactive entertainment, as a result of a £700 million programme of investment in its fleet.
Travelling to destinations across Europe, it is a particularly popular form of transport from London for any of those planning a European break in one of the fine hotels in Paris
