English musician Gary Numan is set to perform live in Edinburgh this December, with the concert one of seven shows as part of his Dead Moon Falling Tour.

Renowned for the heavy synthesised sound present throughout his catalogue of works, Numan experienced chart topping success back in the, probably best known for the 1979 number one singles ‘Are ‘Friends` Electric` and ‘Cars`. Numan has produced 22 albums during his tenure, with ‘Replicas` and ‘The Pleasure Principle` in 1979 and ‘Tekkon` in 1980 earning him three number one spots in a row on the UK Album Charts.

Gary Numan will be performing live at the HMV Picture House on the 4 December, a performance which will feature a string of singles from his forthcoming album ‘Splinter` which will hit the shelves in 2013.
