Australian-Belgian musical extraordinaire Gotye has announced plans to perform live Paris later in the year, with the concert in the French capital forming part of a huge European tour.

He has been making shockwaves in the music industry since 2003, with the release of his debut album Boardface being well-received, and showed plenty of promise for what was to come. His second album, Like Drawing Blood, arrived in 2006, certified double platinum in Australia whilst also fairing well in the Belgian and Australian charts. It was his third album, Making Mirrors, which helped him gain international acclaim, featuring in the top ten in ten different countries and spawning the hugely successful single ‘Somebody I Used to Know` which reached the top ten in 30 different countries.
