American guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer Dickey Betts is heading to the Catalonian capital this summer.
The legendary musician, who is probably best known as a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, will be performing at the Sala Apolo music venue in Barcelona on 18 July.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in rock history, he formed one part of a celebrated partnership with the late Duane Allman, where they were praised for their innovative and intelligent approach to guitar playing.
He is responsible for writing and performing the Grammy Award winning instrumental ‘Jessica`, a Southern Rock classic which is well-known in the UK due its use in the opening credits of Top Gear.
