One of Mexico`s most famous dishes is set to become the talk of Edinburgh next month as determined cooks are set to bring all their skills as part of the much anticipated Chill cook-off.

It has been organised by local Mexican restaurant Lupe Pintos, a highly regarded establishment which will be celebrating its 21st birthday in the business. The format is simple, just work your way around a selection of eateries within the city centre sampling 50g pots of chilli. After you have cast your votes for the finest pot of the day, one lucky restaurant will be crowned champion.

The Chilli cook-off is set to feature in Edinburgh on the 20th October, offering a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy should you be staying in any of the hotels in Edinburgh over the period. If you are a fan of the finest spicy food of South America, this is surely an event you won`t want to miss. Tickets for the event cost just £10 with all proceeds going to the charity cash for kids.
