Legendary English heavy metal band Iron Maiden are set to rock out the French capital next summer, performing at one of Paris` most famous concert halls as part of a string of European dates.
The popular group – billed by many as the chief pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal – will be performing at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on Wednesday 5 June, a date that many of Iron Maiden`s loyal fans will undoubtedly be earmarking for a European break in one of the idyllic
hotels in Paris.
Considered one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history, they have sold over 85 million records worldwide and won the Ivor Novello Award for international achievement in 2002. They have released fifteen studio albums since being formed in 1975, with their latest release ‘The Final Frontier` in 2010 debuting at number one in over twenty-eight countries.
Be sure to combine a visit to the cultural capital of Europe with a memorable night of live music next spring.
