British singer songwriter Katie Melua has announced a concert in Paris this autumn, heading to the French capital for what is just one of many dates on her lengthy European tour.

The jazz, blues and folk singer is a highly regarded figure in music, renowned for her infectious melodies and delicate vocals. She exploded onto the charts with the release of her debut album Call Off The Search in 2003, giving the star her first number one at just 19 years old. The release went onto sell over 1.8 million copies in just five months after its release. Her second album, `Piece by Piece` continued her success, going four times platinum after it hit the shelves back in 2005. She has released 5 albums during her career, with her most recent coming in the form of Secret Symphony in March of this year.
