British singer-songwriter Leo Sayer has been lined up for a performance in the Irish capital this summer, ahead of a busy UK winter schedule.
The seventies star, who has become a naturalised Australian citizen, will be performing at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Thursday 5 July.
He is perhaps best known for a series of hits on both sides of the Atlantic, including the timeless song ‘You Make Me Feel like Dancing`, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and number two on the UK Singles Chart. It also won a Grammy Award in 1978 in the Best R&B Song category.
The legendary entertainer more recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK in 2007, and has cemented his status as a worldwide star for all the ages.
