English soprano singer, musician and media personality Lesley Garrett is heading to the Scottish capital this Christmas as part of a one off performance to celebrate the festive season.

The gifted vocalist, who rose to prominence after winning the Decca Prize of the Kathleen Ferrier Award in 1979, will be performing a host of Christmas classics at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Sunday 16 December, leaving plenty of time for her fans to book a winter break in one of the excellent hotels in Edinburgh.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Lesley has a wealth of experience on the big stage and has performed in major productions across Europe, including the operas Serse, Le Nozze di Figaro, Cosė fan tutte and Die Fledermaus.

Her status as one of the UK`s leading performers was rewarded in 2002, when Garrett was awarded a CBE for her services to music. Be sure to enjoy a memorable night of live music Christmas in Edinburgh this year.
