American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and multi-instrumentalist Jack White is to perform in the French capital this summer as part of a series of dates across Europe.
The talented artist, who rose to prominence as the guitarist, pianist and lead vocalist of The White Stripes, has confirmed two performances at l`Olympia in Paris on 2 and 3 July, although the former date has sold out.
Embarking on a massive tour in support of his debut solo album ‘Blunderbuss`, which was released on April 24, the enigmatic, yet supremely gifted, musician was ranked number 70 on Rolling Stone`s list of ‘The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time` and has collaborated with the likes of Beck, The Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys and Bob Dylan over the course of his fledgling solo career. He is also notable for being a member of The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.
