Proposals for a new chocolate museum in Dublin have been granted, offering sweet-toothed enthusiasts another attraction to enjoy in the Irish capital.

Rycon Ltd`s Chocolate Museum in the old Apothecary`s Building in Merrion Square will join Butler`s Chocolate Experience at its factory in Coolock in offering a fantastic range of sweet treats for the vast amounts of tourists and visitors that make their way to the Irish capital every year.

Geared specifically towards families and chocolate-loving children, the new museum is scheduled to open next year and will include a ‘history of chocolate from the Atzecs until the modern day` according to Michael Ryan of Rycon, the man behind the new venture.

Yet another fantastic addition to the activity landscape in Dublin, it could be a fantastic day out for any of those planning a break in one of the fine hotels in Dublin over the coming months.
