Almost thirty years ago, Jacqueline Picasso made a remarkable donation to the Museu Picasso, gifting 41 unique ceramics to the acclaimed Barcelona institution.
Next month, an exhibition commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the gift will take place at the museum, open to the public from 26 October – 1 April.
All of the donated works will be displayed in a new installation at the gallery, accompanied by a detailed catalogue of the techniques, materials and historical context provided for each piece featured.
Arguably one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, Picasso`s work will be rightly revered in what will be an in-depth appreciation of his work.
