Autumn is among the best seasons in which to visit Paris, with a fine array of events suiting the whole family taking place throughout the city of love. Possibly the biggest contributor to this buzzing programme is the annual Paris Autumn Festival, presenting a treasure chest of activities and performances ranging from visual arts, dance and theatre to music and cinema.
Now in its 41st year, the event attracts culture vultures from the four corners of the world and has grown to become one of the biggest events on the calendar with an overall audience more than 100,000 strong. Taking place at multiple venues from the 13 September until 18 December, it offers a fascinating point of interest for both visitors and city dwellers during the colder months. If you are looking forward to a stay in one of the great Paris hotels
