Portuguese alternative rock band The Gift are to perform in the Catalonian capital next month, it has been confirmed.

The talented group, formed in 1994, will be hitting the Music Hall in Barcelona on Friday 30 November as part of an extensive European tour this winter.

Renowned for their distinctive sound and ability to create electric atmospheres during live concerts, The Gift have released five albums to date and have cemented a strong fan base across Europe. This being the case, fans and music lovers are being advised to book tickets early for the gig to avoid missing out, whilst Barcelona hotels are also expected to be busy in the lead up to Christmas.

Their talent was officially recognised in 2005, when the group won the MTV Europe award for best Portuguese act, highlighting their arrival on the international music scene. Be sure to check them out whilst enjoying a memorable break in buzzing Barcelona.
