The Primavera Sound Festival, an event we recently covered, has added a list of stars to its line-up, as organisers prepare to wow crowds this summer.

Joining the likes of UK band Franz Ferdinand, American rockers The Drums and alternate group Death Cab for Cutie will be joined by a host of talented, up and coming acts from around Europe.

Amongst the acts announced is English folk musician Laura Marling, who won Best Female Solo Artist at the 2011 Brit Awards, Richard Hawley, who is a guitarist and member of British band Pulp and American indie rock group The War on Drugs.

Tickets are available for the biggest European alternate music festival, which is taking place in Barcelona from May 30 – 3 June, for as little as 85 €. If you are planning a mini break to the Catalonian capital or are already staying one of the beautiful Barcelona hotels, then make sure you combine it with a trip to this amazing event.
