Staff at the Little Museum of Dublin are on the hunt for rare U2 memorabilia to help form part of a new exhibit being staged at the popular institution.

Items such as rare photographs, posters, set-lists and t-shirts are just some of the items being sought after by the museum, which has decided to set up a permanent U2 exhibition in the wake of the success of an exhibition of U2 photographs that opened in May this year that saw a record number of visitors.

The response has been excellent so far according to museum director Trevor White, who said people were coming from as far away as Greece and Italy with their contributions to the exhibition.

Mr White added that he believed it was about time the Irish capital had a museum to celebrate U2.

If you have any memorabilia you`d like to donate, contact Simon O`Connor at simon@littlemuseum.ie. Alternatively, come and check out the museum for yourself whilst taking a break in one of the beautiful Dublin hotels.
