In some rather peculiar news relating to Paris, plans have been proposed surrounding a revolutionary trampoline bridge across the river Seine.
It comes after an ideas competition was set up to create a new bridge in the french capital, one which would stand as a landmark or new icon whilst offering the 38th crossing of the famous river.
The curious idea has been developed by Atelier Zündel Cristea, and the bridge would be made up from three inflatable doughnuts around 30m in diameter with trampoline webbing fixed across their centres. This would allow everyone from commuters to tourists to bounce across from ring to ring and enjoy a joyful release from gravity as they make their way across the river. Although it can be accessed by a staircase at either side, there is even talk of being able to descend from the bridge via a slide.
Should it become a reality, it could certainly be one of the most popular attractions for any one staying in any of the
hotels in Paris in the future.
