Critically acclaimed Icelandic post-rock quartet Sigur Ros have announced that they will be returning to Paris next year, following their spellbinding recent performance there.

The band, who formed in Reykjavik in 1994, are currently preparing to launch another European tour in support of their recent sixth studio album release, Valtari, which has received rave reviews from many critics and shot into the UK Album Charts at number eight.

Perhaps best known for the inspirational ‘Hoppipolla`, which was a top ten hit and has been used in a slew of television programmes and for blockbuster movies like Slumdog Millionaire and We Bought a Zoo, Sigur Ros will be playing at the Zenith de Paris on the 27th February, with presale tickets already available via their website.

Given the huge global popularity of this groundbreaking group, it would be wise for fans to look into buying one of the early tickets now to guarantee their spot at the concert, as well as finding accommodation at one of the many affordable hotels in Paris on the night of the performance soon.
