Acclaimed Los Angeles based reggae band The Aggrolites are to perform in the Catalonian capital next month.

The group – an amalgamation of two previous LA reggae and ska bands, the Vessels and the Rhythm Doctors – will be performing at the Extraperlo venue in Barcelona on Sunday 18 November, meaning there is still time to book a last minute break in one of the excellent Barcelona hotels for a memorable evening of fabulous live music.

They are probably best known for their third studio album Reggae Hit L.A, which won an IGN award for Best Reggae Album of 2007.

Some of their songs have also featured on films, with their song ‘Free Time` appearing on 2009 American musical and romantic comedy film Bandslam, whilst another of their hits, ‘Work To Do`, enjoyed airtime in comedy-drama 50/50.

Their appearance in Barcelona further adds to the booming nightlife prevalent in the Catalonian capital.
