English rockers The Pretty Things are set to storm the stage of Barcelona next month, visiting the city as the group embark on a lengthy tour across Europe.

The group originally began making waves back in the 60s, with their debut self titled release being well received amongst the British music scene, eventually peaking at number 6 on the UK Album Chart. They have released a catalogue of ten studio and four live albums during their tenure, even breaking into the American music charts when the albums Silk Torpedo and Savage Eye hit the shelves in 1974 and 1976 respectively. Their music was admired by both fans and fellow musicians alike, with the great David Bowie covering the singles `Rosalyn` and `Don`t Bring me Down` in his album `Pin Ups` which was released in 1973.

The Pretty Things will be performing live at the Sala Salamandra 2 on the 21 June, with tickets still fully available. If you are looking forward to a stay in on one of the hotels in Barcelona over the dates, why not book your place to see one of the great bands from the 60`s live in concert?
