Excitement is gathering ahead of a Thin Lizzy gig taking place in Dublin this winter after it was confirmed that the Irish rock band will be releasing new music for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Performing at the Olympia Theatre in the Irish capital on 13 December as part of a massive European tour, fans could be privy to some brand new material after guitarist Scott Gorham confirmed the group was working on new songs with an eye on a new album.

Arguably one of rock music`s most recognisable names, Thin Lizzy are probably best known for a succession of classic hits such as ‘Jailbreak`, ‘The Boys are Back in Town` and ‘Don`t Believe a Word`.

Despite fading from the mainstream music industry when Phil Lynott tragically passed away at the age of 36, the band has maintained a strong fan base – a testament to the popularity of the group.

Come and combine a fantastic live music experience with a break in one of the excellent hotels in Dublin this winter.
