Two adorable meerkat pups have been born at Dublin Zoo, delighting keepers and visitors alike.
Although they were born in July, it is only now that visitors are able to get a glimpse of the cute critters, which are joining a family of four adult meerkats comprising one male and three females.
They were originally kept hidden in the burrows by their doting parents and aunts, who kept watch and sounded alerts of any potential danger or predators spotted nearby.
Both pups are doing very well, according to the team leader at the popular attraction, Eddie O`Brien, who said staff were ‘delighted` with the arrival.
