Celebrated American classical violinist Sarah Chang is heading to the Scottish capital next month as part of two special dates in the UK, it has been announced.

The world-class musician, who impressively rose to prominence after playing a Mozart Violin Concerto in her debut concert with the New York Philharmonic at the age of nine, will be playing at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Monday 22 October.

Comprising a programme of legendary classical works such as Egmont Overture by Beethoven, a Violin Concerto by Barber and Dvorak`s Symphony No 9 in E minor (from the New World), the audience are sure to be wowed by the sheer talent of this gifted individual.

One of many fantastic evening events to enjoy in the Scottish capital over the coming months, it could represent a memorable night out for any of those planning a break in one of the amazing hotels in Edinburgh.
