Getting there by plane:
Flights into Edinburgh Airport are serviced by an Express Bus (number 100). They run every 10 minutes during the day and take approx. 25 minutes to the centre of Edinburgh. Check out: Traveline Scotland
Getting there by train:
Trains to Edinburgh go into Waverley station. Waverley station is very central and exits into Princes Street.
Tipping:
10-15% is normal in cabs and restaurants (where a service charge is usually included in your bill).

Edinburgh Airport is serviced by most domestic and International carriers flying into Scotland’s capital. Public bus services stop outside the UK Arrivals doors on the terminal forecourt. There is an express bus service to Edinburgh city centre (number 100). The frequency of the service is from every 10 minutes at peak times through the day, to every 30 minutes at night. Tickets can be brought from the information desk at International arrivals, from a desk at the bus stop or on the bus itself.The journey takes approximately 25 minutes and terminates at Waverley Bridge, near to the main railway station and bus station and is just off the city's main street, Princes Street.For general information on public transport in Scotland visit www.travelinescotland.com

 Taxis are available from a designated rank beside the coach park outside the UK arrivals hall. A typical journey time to the city centre takes around 25 minutes and fares vary according to the distance travelled. Many of the taxis are wheelchair accessible.

Trains Most national train services (from London and other key cities in the UK) arrive into Waverley Station. It lies between the old town and modern Edinburgh, adjacent to Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle and the Princes Street Gardens. Many of our hotels are within a stones throw of Waverley station.
