"Very good hotel, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere."

Very reasonable rates - only one gripe. For breakfast there wasn`t any scrambled eggs to go with my bacon (I waited for 20 minutes and no more egg came out).

"Great location"

Good value for money.Small rooms but clean other than ingrained smoke.Effecient staff.We will stay again but this time ask for a non smoking room/ floor and a room where TV has a control.Excellent location re metro and central Paris.

The hotel`s location was very good. The metro stop was directly opposite. The room was small but adaquate for ourselves. The only thing that made me wary was a photocopy of my debit card being kept behind the front desk on full view. The price for breakfast (14 euros per person) was very steep. We were able to find places that served breakfast for two for 14 euros or less.

This hotel was fine for us; we didn`t spend any time there other than to sleep. It is basic and clean. There isn`t anything in the neighborhood, but it`s located right beside a convenient metro station

"Clean, excellent central location. Friendly & helpful reception staff."

Very comfortable and clean little hotel in an excellent location. Only two negative comments. 1) The minibar was not complete when we took the room over, we were then asked to pay for those missing items, although resolved quickley. 2) Lady serving breakfasts not very friendly or efficient. Guests were continually having to ask for food items to be toped up, which was then done, but with reluctance, which made guests feel uncomfortable. We were told one morning there was no bread!!. Apart from this a very pleasant stay. Thankyou.

"A competent and well located hotel."

The rooms are small. The breakfast room is also small. The breakfast is modest. There was nowhere in the room to put rubbish. However, all was clean, tidy and functional. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around, and the Metro is just a few yards away. It`s good value.

I suppose the hotel would be classed as basic, however it was across the road from the metro, was very clean and I thought the breakfast was perfect. The only downside I thought was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

"Breakfast Service"

The Hotel was lovely, good value for money and clean. Th Reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly, they allowed me to borrow a european adaptor without charge which I thought was very nice. However myself and my partner did find breakfast to be a little tiresome. The lady working on the breakfasts from the hotel wasnt friendly at all and I`d go as far as to say even rude, she didnt seem to replenish the food when it had run out so we found ourselves always having to ask, ie there was no butter, then there were no biscuits, then the coffee ran out .... and along with the language barrier we did feel embarrased to be asking all the time., we also heard other people comment. When we left which was about 10.15 the food table was bare even though this was still within the breakfast time. I would like to add that on our last day (yesterday) a different lady greeted us with a big smile which was nice. Regards Lynn Richards Room 703

"Broadband Connectivity"

Our biggest disappointment was the fact that the Yllen Eiffel charges to connect to Wi-fi. This is something that is vital in today`s market & we do not understand why we have to be charged for it. Some feedback would be appreciated.

"Great experience"

This hotel was wonderful, and it was so convenient to be so close to the metro. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was so nice! The room was a little small, but modern and comfortable with a great bathroom. I was expecting breakfast to be included in the price for the rooms, and thought that the buffet price was a little high. The food, however, was delicious. Overall great experience!

"Good value for money"

It`s a great hotel with good customer service. The location of the hotel is one of it`s best things. There is a metro station just infront of the hotel entrance and it connects to all the tourist spots in Paris. The breakfast buffet had a very limited variety and its advisable to carry one`s own electric kettle as there is no tea offered in the room. A special mention about the staff. They were very friendly and informative and made our visit a very special one with their friendly behaviour and guidance.

"Good base for exploring Paris, opposite a tube station. Excellent breakfast."

We were very pleased with the hotel. From CDG airport pretty easy to find by train and tube. Breakfast was continental and also cooked breakfast which was welcomed. Rooms comfortable and bathroom with small bath and excellent shower. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful with directions to all the touristy places. Very good value for money for a budget hotel and would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate in going back there when next in Paris. Group of 5. Mrs. Lomax

"Great little hotel"

Lovely little hotel, decent size bedroom & bathroom. Breakfast was perfectly adequate although a little more variation would of been nice. This hotel is in a wonderful location for visiting the wonderful sights of Paris. Metro station is directly opposite the hotel. Staff were all very pleasant & helpful & we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody & we will definitely book the Yllen Eiffel when we return to Paris

"The service was good,and staff were very helpfull,and it was lovely and clean."

There was only one thing I missed and that was having a small kettle/tea-bags/coffee/milk/sugar as a complimentary pack in my room so I could make my first cuppa off the day when I woke up, but otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

"very good hotel"

hotel is great, easy walk to the eiffle tower and the metro station is opposite for other sightseeing. Rooms failry small but cosy. bus and train works out same as a taxi.. better off getting a taxi from charles du gaulle approx 55euro. breakfast was ok.. continental. Hot breaky is scramble eggs and sausages thats it!

"I like the place...staff charming, "

It`s nice little hotel, and l will stay with my partner there in the future. It`s better value for two than one...On both occasions l have stayed there l have arrived after Midnight, and the staff have been helpful. JIP.

Tidy hotel in need of a lick of paint especially in the dining area. Friendly staff. Slightly out of centre location. We liked being in a less touristy area. Very convenient for the metro. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance.

The location is ideal for the Eiffel Tower. The room was small but very comfortable. We will definately be returning to this hotel next year. Breakfast was nice (my only suggestion is that tomatoes be added)

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location, next door to metro station. The romm was cleaned every day and fresh towels were provided.The only slight moan I had was that we were not allowed to check in the hotel until dead on 2pm. We arrived at 1.50 and was told that we would have to wait 10mons to gain access to our room. This was despite me requesting an early check in if available

Small but clean rooms-great location-you can walk to the Eiffel Tower and Volontaires Metro station is just a few steps across the road.Continental breakfast is fine-a good place to stay if you are on a budget and don`t want to pay the ridiculously high room rates for more central Paris hotels!

"Basic, Ccean, value for money"

Rooms clean, furniture slightly worn, bathroom ceiling damaged by no working extractor fan.Breakfast ok, plenty of it. Good location right opposite Volontaires Metro station. If you want to be near the action not a good location, for peace and quiet fine. Not bad for a 3 star city break if you are spending the whole day out, however on returning to paris next month we`re staying in the St Germain area where many sights are in walking distance.

"Good position for Porte de Versailles fairs"

Stayed twice in this hotel now - very convenient for exhibitions at the Porte de Versailles. Lower floor rooms are very small and suffer from road noise, 6th and 7th floor are bigger, quieter, and batetter. Some rooms are in desperate need of redecorating. Good deals available out of season, but expensive otherwise. A pretty typical Parisien hotel, but it`s position, dead opposite the Volontaires metro station, only 3 stops from the Porte de Versailles, makes it worth considering.

Good location for a visit to Paris - right opposite the Volountaires metro station. Rooms a bit small - but hey, this is Paris! Breakfast was good too!! Need to get in there sharpish to get the best food!

We had a great weekend with the girls, breakfast was lovely the rooms were very clean and we had quite a spacious corner room. The staff were extremely helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a short stay!

"Continual difficulties communicating with reception."

A great deal of fuss was made when reception were asked to do laundry, even though a price list and laundry bag were available in the room. There appears to be no facility for early breakfast in the hotel. Confusion existed over invoicing between hotel direct and hotel. The impression was that any questions asked of reception were not received and answered cordially. The free English paper every morning was most welcome.Although well located, the hotel staff, in particular reception did not inspire confidence.

"Reception good, bathroom needs work."

You cannot sit straight on the toilet, if radiator was on you would burn yourself. Shower5 beginning to come away from wall. No bathmat on one occasion, phoned reception, the promised mat never appeared.

"Our room was not ready for occupation when we arrived at 2.15 pm"

The hotel was mainly good, though our room had not been prepared when we arrived at 2.15. This was a disappointment and an inconvenience because we could not unpack and wash prior to visiting Paris on a brief two-day tourist break! We`d been travelling since 5.30 am from the UK! It would have been nice to have been offered another room to wash in, even if only temporarily.
