"Efficient, Friendly & Comfort."
Perfect location, super efficient and freiendly staff where nothing too much trouble. Only downside was the incredible heat in Room 510. A fan was provided however not feasible to leave on. Otherwise perfect in every way. The doorman in particular stood out as the friendliest, helpful person....even in the pouring rain !!

"If Edinburgh, then SCOTSMAN!"
Been there for the third or fourth time. Always very happy because hotel is situated in the town centre and the rooms are very nice. One small and only point of criticism goes to the North Bridge Brasserie staff, which I think could be more attentive (between asking for the bill and final payment transaction passed 20 minutes, the brasserie wasn`t crowded at all, staff was chatting along).

"Had a wonderfully time"
We would like to thank all the Scotsman staff, everyone are very polite and very helpfull. We will differently be back here in the future.We would also like to say "richard" 1 of Scotsman employees has the greatest most welcoming smile ever. A very polite and helping lad even when coming out of the hotel after his shift was over he helped us and made us feel like we were really cared about. Great guy.Thank you

"Great hotel "
Great Scottish welcome- open fire in reception. Guests are seated to check in unlike when you stay at hotel chains even with the same number of stars. Staff are friendly and very professional- nothing is too much trouble for guests.

This hotel achieves all that one expects from a city centre hotel and more. Staff are wonderfully trained to achieve a seamless stay for all the guests.

The hotel is located in a very nice position to enjoy the visit of the enchanted city of Edinburgh. All the services offered by the hotel are first class although we were only there for a few days and we had not chance to use all the facilities we really recommend for you to stay there. The staff were very polite and they attended to all our needs. We will come back in the future. Thank you very much Lynda and Gaetano Milo
