On arrival put off by front door in need of make over and weeds growing out of all sorts of places. St ained carpet on stairs of East wing etc.HOWEVER, excellent manner of all staff from reception through to bar and restaurant and transformation in night time lighting made a great difference to presentation of building. Food was excellent both at evening meal and breakfast time.
