"excellent hotel-perfect location for central Dublin"
hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful-the only issue it seems with the majority of hotel staff in Dublin is that they are mainly Eastern European and you meet very few Irish staff so the experience lacks Irish authenticity

"Great hotel in A1 location."
fantastically comfortable hotel in wonderful position ....2 min walk to Grafton St and Temple Bar and shops in O`connel Street also on your doorstep. The Mint Bar is a must, especially on a Friday night when it seems like the whole of Dublin converge there to celebrate the weekend!

"Hotel very good but don`t pay extra for the breakfast."
Overall impression was v.good - well decorated with professional and friendly staff.Room quiet and well equipped but a little cramped. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean with good roomy shower. Breakfast poor due to lack of service - many items had run out and had not been replaced. Cooked breakfast buffet was all cold. Had to ask three times for tea and fruit juice. I Was a little apprehensive about leaving the car overnight in the public car park but all was OK. Would be happy to stay again but would definitely go out for breakfast.

"Fantastic way to celebrate my 40th birthday"
Spent 3 nights here and could not fault the place. Wonderful room on 5th floor with views over Dublin. Very helpful and polite staff. City centre location makes this hotel very attractive and within reach of most of the tourist attractions. Heavenly beds lived up to their name - really comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The Atrium is well worth a visit for afternoon tea.

"Great service - shame about the food."
Excellent service, friendly attentive staff who were never overbearing, & very clean, but a few disappointments: we requested a triple room and got a double with a camp bed - not good enough for a 5* rating! Food in The Mint Bar indifferent at best - we got a better meal in a pub in Temple Bar. Had to keep requesting tea & milk for our room and a selection of biscuits would not have been too much to ask for. No kettle supplied & you can`t make tea via a coffee machine, but we got one when we asked for it. Mugs very poor quality, china cups - or even mugs - preferable. Some wear & tear in the decor needs addressing & there were odd fixtures that looked like unfinished wall lights that needed attention. But very comfortable beds, though extra seating would have been nice.

"Couldn`t be better!!"
Absolutely fantastic hotel! Great location, lovely room, and the service was exceptional. The staff at reception were most welcoming and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Not a cheap option but definately worth the money!! The Mint Bar was a bonus, amazing cocktails and brilliant Salsa dancing on Friday nights!!

"Very disappointing and ceratinly not good value for money"
for what i paid £175 for one night I expected a much higher standard. The initial room I was allocated was very small and cramped, but I was moved to a larger room. The room was overly hot (even with the air conditioning) noisy, the grouting in the shower was very dirty, the bath not full size - in fact the bathroom was not a good standard, even the toilet didn`t flush properly! The towels were creased and although must have been clean did not look clean. The hair dryer flex was not long enough so when you sat in the chair in front of the mirror the plug kept coming out. The breakfast was poor and my toast burnt. The only positive is that the bed was comfortable.

"The Westin is situated within walking distance of tourists attractions and lively restaurants/pubs"
The hotel was of a good standard, staff extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean but with no opening window and although there was airconditioning it did not seem to make any difference to the temperature and it was extremely warm overnight. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of variety but the hot food was only hot on the Sunday when the hotel was full and so there was a quick turn-around of food.

"Lovely hotel, great location"
We stayed at the Westin on the 14th December for the weekend and it was lovely. The room was very big and very clean. The beds were comfortable - although there was a bit of noise from the street on both nights which woke us both up - especially the sirens. We had dinner delivered to our room on Saturday night and it was bang on time, to the minute and very well presented. The staff were all very polite and helpful and I would recommend staying here to anyone.

"Staff attention excellent, food very good."
On the day when my wife and I were staying at the Weston there was some slight untidiness at the front door. There had been some damage to the glass in the revolving door and some people were sheltering in the doorway to light cigarettes. This was not the image that the Westin would want. I know that this was a temporary condition and it will not affect my decision to stay at the Westin in the future. The bedroom was beautiful and we enjoyed dining in the Mezzanine restaurant and at breakfast.

"Excellent hotel , friendly staff , comfy rooms, nice atmosphere"
My husband and I wanted a short break in Dublin.Close to the Gaiety theatre and shops. The Westin was perfect. Our room was comfy , with a really comfy bed just the place to relax. The bar in the basement was perfect for a light bite to eat before the theatre.Breakfast was in the dining room which was brilliant. It was simple and well presented. The staff were more than nice. They couldnt do enough. We were able to leave our bags when we checked out as we were shopping .I cannot believe that I have so many goods things to say about this hotel.Ishall definetly return soon.

"An enjoyable and relaxing stay."
Cooked breakfast was not wonderful, unfortunately Irish frys lack the essential ingredients of soda and potato bread. The cold buffet was excellent however.
