Room was exceptionally comfortable with small sofa, desk space and lovely bed with ample pillows etc. Colour scheme and lighting were very pleasant. Front desk staff and bar staff were extremely courteous and accomodating, as were the serving staff at breakfast. All in all we were very pleased and would happily make a return visit.

Despite being in the city it is quiet and in our eyes rates very highly. We would return again when staying in London and recommend to friends. Fittings and equipment supplied to room were excellent.Above all a very comfortable bed. Continental Breakfast was a high standard If not the tube take the Thames Clipper to Embankment to access the West End.

We were cold at night because duvet just reached each side with no overhang, In morning discovered that duvet placed on bed the wrong was round with the massive surplus tucked under the end of the mattress. If bed made correctly it would have been very comfortable.2. We needed to take a pin to the shower head to get water out. Both comments made to reception on departure.

The concierge was a bit more helpful with directions and travel advice. When we ordered a Thai chicken curry from the night menu and it arrived cold in the middle (£16 for the priviledge) it was a bit annoying but we were too tired at that stage to complain so maybe our fault too. Overall, expensive enough but nice and clean and in a good location.

I wish I had not listened to the over-enthusiastic maitre d` by paying an additional £5 and had stuck with the continental breakfast option that was included in the price. However, in spite of this slight annoyance, I would certainly consider using the Apex again.

Bathroom was very clean and sleek with a lovely walk--in shower. Staff are eager to please as i experienced at the bar where i chatted with the barman about the different lagers they stocked and which ones he recommended. Only problem was that we were on the 1st floor and the view was into a small alcove with scaffolding which was disappointing but the room was great so we weren`t too fussed.

This is not acceptable and ruined my stay with an elderly aunt that I had planned as a surprise for her she haed not been to London for over 40 years and then had to experience this I was ashamed I had booked the Hotel It will be remembered for all the wrong reasons

I like contemporary and stylish presentation and the hotel did not disappoint. The room had everything, including quality toiletries in generous sizes and room service was efficient and the food delicious. For the Tower of London, Butler`s Wharf, the South Bank or business in the city, the Apex is ideally placed. The staff were very pleasant and the continental breakfast generous and well presented. I am now a fan and will seek out Apex hotels when travelling.
