"Good location, helpful staff, but very small cramped room. "
A good location near the metro and bus stops, and close to a good range of restaurants and bars. Not too far to walk to cetnral Paris. The room was pleasantly furnished but far too small, and we did have some concerns regarding cleanliness of the bedding and bathroom.

"Aida Opera Hotel Paris"
Really good hotel, ideal location within a couple minute walk from metro station. On arrival they gave us a complimentary upgrade as it was my Mum`s 50th birthday, so she got a suite. Very happy with our choice in hotel, would stay there again

"Tidy hotel with friendly service."
Staff were friendly and there was nothing wrong with the hotel, but thought it was a bit expensive for the tiny room we got and the rather limited breakfast options.

"Good area for an average hotel. Would recommend it to a friend. "
Overall nice. In a good area close to many things. Had a refrigerator which was a definite plus. The continental breakfast was good but was the same everyday.

"Not as Promised"
We were told that we would have 3 adjoining rooms as we had children with us. However the rooms were split over 2 floors which in itself was not unworkable. The main problem the ludicrously tiny double room we were offfered. This room was just big enough to get a small double bed in & had a bathroom just big enough for a shower & loo. The room could not have been bigger than 7 feet by 7 and was crammed into the corner of a corridor. We were told there were no alternative rooms for that night. There was also a lack of clarity regarding what was included for our pre paid breakfast that meant we acquired extra cost.Good points are the location & the standard of the twin rooms at the front of the hotel.Lastly the lady at reception was very helpful & did her best to sort out our problems by providing a bigger room on the second night of our stay.

"friendly helpful staff, lovely room pleasent area of city"
I was suprised at how good the room was. There was good heating, stylish pink and beige decor, large fresh bathroom, TV, frige, safe & hair dryer. Also good view of street form the french windows. Staff were polite and helped with directions to places we wanted to visit and booked our taxi back to CDG. There was plenty of cafes and restuarnts just 2 minutes walk from the hotel, but it still wasnt noisy when you were in the room at night. The buildings in the area were very interesting. Over all a brilliant hotel experience I would defianatly use the Aida Opera again and recomend it to friends and family.

"What started as a two day relaxing stay in the Louvre district of Paris ended in a disaster."
Ater being in the room for a short time the bathroom cieling collapsed under a flood of water from the room above(which they were doing some work on) We were then told we would have to move hotels(another one of theirs) but it was on the other side of Paris which cost a fortune in taxi fares to get where we wanted to be in the evenings. In the second hotel the wardrobe rail collapsed with all our clothes on the froor they seemed not to care and moved our room again so a relaxing two day break in Paris resulted in two hotels and three rooms, I was glad to get home.Problems happen from time to time and we were prepared to accept a little discomfort but this was like as nightmare and what is worse is that no one made an effort to appologise or riemburse the 150 euros we spent on taxis getting back to where we wanted to be . Very disappionted and will not recommend to anyone else.If I could have cancelled the payment I would have done James wilson

"Hotel Messed up Booking"
Arrived as booked on evening of 30th Dec. Hotel wasn`t expecting us and were full. Discovered they had filed our booking as arriving on 4th Jan, which was our departure date. They eventually found us a room in a sister hotel (Eiffel Segur), supposedly of same standard, giving us the choice of staying there for duration, or returning to Aida the next night. Hotel Eiffel Segur put us in a pokey boxroom. Plumbing was awful. Returned to Aida Opera next day. Beware breakfast policy. Continental Breakfast only covers Fruit Juice (squeeze it freshly yourself), Tea/Coffee and croissant or bread. If you want cereal this costs an extra ?6 pppd, although we weren`t charged - possibly due to original problem with booking.

"nice hotel...shame about the bathroom"
Overall the hotel was nice, clean and tidy and in a good location (a couple of minutes walk from Monmatre Boulevard). The continental breakfast was nice and the staff plesant and helpful. The rooms were small but it`s what we expected for central Paris; however the bathroom was a tiny, damp, smelly en suite shower room accompanied with it`s own resident silverfish. I know bathrooms tend to be a little worse in France than what we`re used to but this was really poor.Overall a lovely stay and if you can get over showering with friends then you`ll be fine.
