However, the concierge was friendly and helpful (the woman with blonde hair)

No internet access and the breakfast room is on the wee side. However, overall I would say it is a good value place to stay for a short-trip to Paris.

We found our room was half cleaned when we arrived ( we had to inform them about it when we discovered it)3. Breakfast was minimal with a shortage of items on one day. The breakfast assistant did her best with what was on offer and with the disgruntled guests4. Staff (male fellow) lacked adequate people skills and clearly struggled to deal with constructive criticism5. Blocked shower plug hole6. Brilliant location

The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and there are several restaurants nearby (checkout the steak in the Metropolitan - yum!!). On the down side, the rooms are a bit small, and the spiral staircase up to the second level is a tight squeeze when dragging your cases up it - maybe ask for a room on the ground floor!
