Guest rating:   | 28/3/2008 | | "We were sent to an alternative hotel " | | | | We had to wait for the owner to finish smoking outside the Hotel Du Theatre before he came in and told us we couldn`t stay at the hotel due to rain damage in the room. He then handed us a map and told us to walk to the alternative hotel in the rain. Only after some discussion was he prepared to hand over the email confirming that the other hotel had actually been contacted and booked for ?363 (considerably less than we had paid for the room on your website). Initailly they refused to give me a copy of the booking form, my only proof of booking. The alternative Hotel Malesherbes was adequate although the breakfast was awful - no glasses, no bowls, no milk, 2 or 3 pastries, dirty tables, no hot chocolate. The room had no tea / coffee making facilities. I do not expect this kind of service and wil not be using your website in the future for any hotel bookings

The only don side was that the bedroom was very warm and we could not adjust the radiator.

The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
