Rooms feel a but business like, very clean, no mirror in the bedroom and glass door into the bathroom so you really need to know each other well if sharing. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room either. Breakfast was OK too, enough to give you a good start to the day. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a long weekend. The staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Surroundings very smart and I was happy with my room. However - no tea making facilities in the room. To get a quiet room I had to face a brick wall. No bar facility as the bar man was sick. No room service or restaurant facility. I had to ask for a plug for the bath and shower gel etc. They were very quick and pleasant to supply but it was irrating to have to ask. It is a pity these small things marred what could be a super place to stay.

There was aways some items that were in very short supply or had run out completely. We had to stand around waiting while one poor member of staff ran back and forth from the kitchen with crockery, cutlery, juice, bread etc. etc.Also if we returned to the hotel thirsty and hungry there was never any bar service for hot/cold drinks and snacks. We were usually back exhausted by 10.00pm!

Room over looked night club and remained open until 6am sunday morning. Noisy revellers gathered in street right the way through. (Stayed 2 nights, only Sat was an issue)If you could take this room and place it in quieter spot all would be fine! Only stay here if you intend to party into the small hours!Breakfast very basic. My advice based on my experience spend a bit more on the NH Calderon around the corner.

However, modest guests would not appreciate the open bathroom plan. The door and surround were constructed in glass and the one centimetre gap around the glass bathroom door did not conceal any sounds coming from the bathroom. Travel only with guests you are fully initimate with! The food served at breakfast was good but the service was bad. A single slow functioning coffee machine meant constant queues for tea and coffee. The crockery and popular items of food were constanly running out and there was only one very over worked member of staff serving. This hotel has the potential to be very good if they listen and respond to guest feedback.

The Sansi far exceeded my expectations and I really would reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in Barcelona.

A couple of minor problems with the room (broken floor tile in bathroom (quite dangerous) & safety deposit box not working). Warm air heating system ineffective. It was a shame that the lovely piano bar on the ground floor was not being used by residents. Desk staff very helpful. Would have expected more than one English speaking TV station (CNN) in a 4 star hotel. Location very good. Would stay again in the future.

Would on the whole be pleased to stay again. Only concern there were no fire exit signs in the corridors off the rooms that I could see and no fire drill posters on the back off the rooms.

The two boys on the door were most gelpful, the welcome was charming and terrific. Room fine all one needs but the breakfast was very disppointing and long queue for that awful coffee machng and not much chouoice,. bacon cold and not much service. That is the only thing that needs atention. We will book fo next year.
