"Overall good, friendly, helpful service and staff and we enjoyed our stay here, despite high price."
Great location just next to the Pantheon and enjoyed our stay here. Was a comfortable hotel with old style Italian decor in the rooms. Our bathroom was a bit tired and basic in need of renovating but as there were some works going on in the hotel we assume this will be part of it. Room was comfortable and had what was required but could have a few more luxury touches given the price of the hotel. Hotel was a bit pricey for what it offered but we assume this is primarily because of its location which is great in the middle of things.

"Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff"
Had three days at the hotel. Unbelievably good location - in beautiful piazza right next to Pantheon. Interesting street theatre in piazza at night, but not noisy in hotel. Staff friendly helpful and speak English. Breakfast facilities a bit limited, but otherwise very good

"Excellent central location, rooms all equipped to high quality ,and fantastic breakfasts"
Staff mostly friendly and the rooms of a good clean quality. My booking was obvoiusly double booked, as we had to change rooms for the last day of the stay. First room fantastic (111)second room well equipped but how anyone can sleep with the noise of this room is beyond belief. (109) on top of a busy restaruant, stair case and could hear every move of the guests in 107. However as it was only one night it did not spoil an excellent overall experience any longer in this room would have been unbearable. The location alone sells this hotel

"Good location but......."
Location was great. Directly on the square opposite The Pantheon but.. Hotel was below expectations for the price. Room was very small and the bathroom was unfinnished. Breakfast was also very basic for a four star hotel.

"Excellent location, average rooms, VERY expensive."
The location couldn`t be better, but the rooms are small and not particularly comfortable for the price. E.g. very little storage space, no cupboards, just a curtain with a rail behind it. Our room was an internal one which meant no view but also much less noise. The room was incredibly stuffy as the hotel refused to turn the aircon on until May 1 - despite the blistering heat outside. The breakfasts are fantastic - especially the little clamshell-shaped pastries.
