Now the Olympics are over, anticipation is starting to build in earnest for the Paralympic Games, taking place in the capital at the end of the month.

Beginning on 29 August, the Paralympic torch relay hits the capital the day before, and will be stopping of at a series of renowned landmarks throughout the city.

The Beatles` Abbey Road crossing, Lord`s Cricket Ground, London Zoo and Tower Bridge are just some of the places that will be visited by torchbearers, who will also pass through six host boroughs on their way to the Olympic Stadium, where they will light the flame in what is expected to be an amazing opening ceremony.
