Award winning West End production One Man Two Guvnors was granted a royal visit last night, after the Queen dropped in to enjoy some outrageous British comedy.

Her Majesty, who will be celebrating her Diamond Jubilee to mark 60 years on the throne this year, is said to have ‘thoroughly enjoyed` the production, which has been described as a “frequently offensive” but “glorious celebration of British comedy”.

A play by acclaimed English playwright Richard Bean, it only opened at the National Theatre in June 2011, but it has already garnered many admirers.

The Queen of England did miss the chance to catch the king of British entertainment James Corden however, who played the lead role as Francis Henshall until 25 February.

Just one of the fantastic plays available to enjoy throughout the West End, why not come and experience the glamour and prestige for yourself and enjoy one of the excellent London theatre breaks.
