After what can rightly be considered a hugely successful year for Dappy in 2011, the British hip-hop star has announced a series of dates towards the end of 2012, stopping of in the capital along the way.

The sometimes controversial artist will be performing in his hometown on Wednesday 3 October at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London.

After embarking on a solo career following the announcement of a hiatus period for N-Dubz, Dappy got his first his first taste of success when he released his debut single “No Regrets”, which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. He followed this up by collaborating with iconic British guitarist and former Queen band member Brian May to release “Rockstar”. His debut album is set to be released later in 2012, so concert goers could be privy to some new material.
