There has been an update to the cast list for The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, with David Suchet set to bolster what is already a stellar line up of acting talent.

The actor has been awarded a starring role, responsible for providing the voice of the mighty lion Aslan. He is sure to arrive in high spirits, with his services currently being put to good use in A Long Day`s Journey into Night at the Apollo Theatre.

It brings a fantastic adaptation to the CS Lewis classic, using innovative surround video and sublime puppetry to convey the story, following four siblings as they discover the enchanting world of Narnia through their wardrobe.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is already showing previews at London`s Threesixty Theatre, with a chance to see the groundbreaking production until at least 9 September. It could become the basis of one of the fantastic London theatre breaks available, presenting an unforgettable trip to the capital.
