Details surrounding this year`s Theatre Awards UK have been announced, with this year`s offering including a public voted award for the first time.

The Theatre Awards UK were launched last year to encompass both the TMA Theatre and Theatre Management Awards, standing as the national awards to reward creative excellence and outstanding achievement on and off the stage within England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

While the incredible shows residing on the West End are sure to be showered in praise during the ceremony, there will also be a chance for the public to get involved, with their vote vital in determining who will take home the Best Touring Production Award. If it`s received with positive audience reviews, the hit production of Volcano should certainly be in with a shout for the award.
