The Museum of London has joined forces with analogue camera wizards Lomography to create an Olympic-themed ‘Lomowall`, a stunning piece of art and design comprising 30,000 photographs that will be displayed at the popular tourist attraction over the coming months.
Fans of Lomography, described on its website as a magazine, shop and community dedicated to analogue photography, have submitted over 15,000 snaps for the project, which will be displayed on the massive wall encompassing the Museum of London`s foyer and rotunda.
To adhere to its Olympic theme, Lomography has photographed more than 30 team GB athletes training for the London 2012 Paralympic Games, all of which will feature in the mosaic-like work.
It will form the largest and longest running Lomowall in the UK to date and will remain in position at the popular London attraction for the next six months.
Be sure to check it out this summer whilst enjoying a stay in one of the fine
hotels in London for an unforgettable British break.
