Legendary American punk rock band Green Day has confirmed a massive one-off date in the capital next summer.
The famous rock trio, who have become one of the most important groups of the modern era, will be performing at the Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday 1 June 2013.
They have been credited with re-inventing punk music after bursting onto the music scene with their 1994 album ‘Dookie`, which has so far sold 12 million copies and spawned the singles ‘Longview`, ‘Basket Case` and ‘She`.
Since then they have enjoyed enormous success, including twelve Top 40 singles, a vast array of awards and their celebrated 2004 album ‘American Idiot`.
Tickets for the gig are to go on general sale on Friday 28 September from 9.30 am and are expected to sell out extremely quickly. Combine an amazing live music experience with a stay in one of the excellent London hotels next summer.
