The global fascination with James Bond is to be capitalised on by leading tourism agency VisitBritain, which is undertaking an in-depth marketing campaign in 21 countries to get tourists to come to Britain.
Pushing the slogan ‘Bond is GREAT Britain`, the national tourism agency will roll out a string of cinema, press and outdoor advertising to prospective tourists ahead of the release of Skyfall – the twenty-third James Bond film – starring Daniel Craig.
The capital in particular could benefit from the film`s release, with some of London`s most famous landmarks, including the National Gallery, Whitehall and Greenwich, appearing in the film.
It is hoped the advertising campaign will reinforce the positive image of the capital, which thrived during the recent Olympic Games, with international communities generally impressed with the success of the event.
Come and spy for yourselves why the capital represents a fantastic break and take a break in one of the excellent
hotels in London over the coming months.
